The Town of Marshall will be picking up green waste, outside the Village of Waterville, the last Monday of each month, April through October.  Leaves, grass and flower clippings must be put in biodegradable bags. Residents who have green waste to be picked up should call the Town of Marshall Highway Garage at 315-841-8051 or 315-794-3852 and leave a message including your name and road you live on.  If you have a tree or hedgerow removed, it is your responsibility to clean it up. No stumps or logs will be picked up, no exceptions. NOTE: There will be no green waste pick up on Monday, May27th, due to the holiday. Green waste will be picked up Tuesday, May 28th instead.

The Town is now seeking a person to fill a vacancy on the Zoning Board of Appeals. Your responsibility will be to seek a balance between the rights of a property owner and the rights of other property owners as set out and protected by the Town's Zoning Code. You will be expected to attend a monthly meeting at the Town Hall in Deansboro, and participate in a four-hour annual training. The appointment is for a five-year term and there is a small annual stipend.

Please consider serving your community as a member of the ZBA. You may contact me with your questions. You will find more information about the ZBA on the Town website:
