Attention Town of Marshall Homeowners:
This fall, the Town of Marshall will be applying to New York State for grant money to assist homeowners with repairs to their homes. In order for the Town to be successful in obtaining grant funds, we need to determine the number of homeowners who would be interested in having their homes rehabilitated. If the Town is awarded funds, you may be eligible for the following repairs: Heating, Plumbing, Roofing, Doors, Structural Repairs, Painting, and Energy Conservation Improvements.
If you own the home in which you live in and have a gross annual household income less than the limits below, please call the Town's Grant Writing Consultant, THOMA DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANTS at (607)-753-1433 weekdays between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm to request a pre-application.
GREEN WASTE PICK UP
The Town of Marshall will be picking up green waste, outside the Village of Waterville, the last Monday of each month, April through October. Leaves, grass and flower clippings must be put in biodegradable bags. Residents who have green waste to be picked up should call the Town of Marshall Highway Garage at 315-841-8051 or 315-794-3852 and leave a message including your name and road you live on. If you have a tree or hedgerow removed, it is your responsibility to clean it up. No stumps or logs will be picked up, no exceptions. NOTE: There will be no green waste pick up on Monday, May28th, due to the holiday. Green waste will be picked up Tuesday, May 29th instead.
