SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING, MARCH 27, 2012
A special meeting of the town Board of the Town of Marshall, County of Oneida and the State of New York was held at the Town Hall, 2651 State Rte. 12B, Deansboro, NY on the 27th day of March 2012.
PRESENT: Nelson A. Blau Supervisor
Gary R. Ford Councilman
Susan McConnell Councilwoman
Sean McNamara Councilman
Eric Schachtler Councilman
Steve Lollman Highway Superintendent
Nancy Matteson Town Clerk
Supervisor Blau called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.
This special meeting was for the purpose of opening bids for the new town barn.
Clerk Matteson read the ad that was published in the Town's official paper.
Chris Crolius and Mike Lahey from Marsh Associates took over the meeting to open and record the bids. Attached is a list of bidders.
The Town Board discussed with Marsh Associates the possibility of Mike Lahey being the "Clerk of the Works" for the Town. It was decided that the Town Board would interview a couple of the applicants and the Town would hire their own clerk.
On a motion by Gary Ford, seconded by Sean McNamara the meeting was adjourned at 8:50 P.M. Carried unanimously.
