REGULAR MEETING, TOWN OF MARSHALL FEBRUARY 11, 2014
The regular meeting of the Town
Board of the Town of Marshall, County of Oneida, and the State of New York was
held at the Town Hall, 2651 State Rte. 12B, Deansboro, NY on the 11th
day of February, 2014.

Sturdevant called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm with the pledge to the flag.

Senior Consultant for THOMA Development, spoke about grant writing. He would like a “wish list” from the Town to
see if any grants are available for the Town.

On a motion by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilwoman McConnell the following

Old sander - Will sell a sander from an old truck.

truck - Not worth the cost to fix it.

Bucket - Westmoreland has bucket, possibly for sale.
Superintendent Welch will look into.

Supply Company: Will purchase bolts
from them, as they are cheaper.

Will clean trees from creek by Veteran’s Park as soon
as possible.

Clerk: Clerk Blunt gave the Supervisor one check. The
check was for $491.64 for clerk business.

Report: Supervisor Sturdevant went over his report with the
Town Board.
RESOLUTION #22
On a motion by Councilwoman McConnell, seconded by Councilman
Schachtler, the following resolution was ADOPTED

RESOLVED that the Town Board sign contract with Computell Consultants
to audit the Town of Marshall’s utility bills.

the Board about upcoming events.

Councilman Buschmann will look into.

On a motion by Councilwoman McConnell, seconded by
Councilman Williams the following

RESOLUTION # 24
On a motion by Councilwoman McConnell, seconded by
Councilman Buschmann, the following resolution was ADOPTED

RESOLVED that the Town Board accept all reports as given.
OLD BUSINESS:
a. Bramer project: Reassigned
to Councilmen Schachtler & Williams and Superintendent Welch.
b. Trail: Assigned to Parks & Recreation, Councilwoman McConnell
is working on it.
c. Salt Barn: Ad for bids is in the paper.
Will open bids at March meeting.
d. Timber sale: Looking
into lines.
e. Oil separator: Superintendent
Welch is testing water taken out of pumps to know what is being discharged.
f. Insurance
claim: Mr. Getman had nothing to report.
g. 644 bucket: Letter
was sent by William Getman, no response yet. Auctions International responded
with other options. Mr. Getman will pursue judgment against Serge Legault.
Councilman Buschmann left at 8:32 pm.
NEW BUSINESS:

Town will come up with wish list to present to THOMA consultant Rich Cunningham.

company will evaluate current system & give a price to update.

Dog Officer: Terry
Cerminaro wants to use a second vet, in addition to Waterville Vet.

Garage update: Met with March Industries – building
should not be dripping. They will come up with a fix.

Summer Rec. guidelines: Councilwoman McConnell gave Board her proposed
guidelines for the Summer Rec program.

On a motion by Councilman Williams, seconded by
Councilman Schachtler, the following resolution was ADOPTED

submitted by Councilwoman McConnell with changes.
