REGULAR MEETING, TOWN OF MARSHALL APRIL 8, 2014
The regular meeting of the Town
Board of the Town of Marshall, County of Oneida, and the State of New York was
held at the Town Hall, 2651 State Rte. 12B, Deansboro, NY on the 8th
day of April, 2014.

Sturdevant called the meeting to order at 7:01 pm with the pledge to the flag.

RESOLVED that the Town Board accept the minutes of the regular
meeting of March 11, 2014 with

RESOLVED that the Town Board accept the minutes of the special
meeting of March 25, 2014.
RECOGNITION OF GUESTS: Joe Kane spoke regarding the article in The
Waterville Times regarding the status of the bridge yellow-tagged by NYSDOT. Highway
Superintendent Welch will follow up with Mr. Kane.

Highway
Superintendent:
Superintendent Welch spoke about the following:

CHIPS will
be giving more money this year.

Clam bucket has been ordered, should be here in 2
weeks.

Trash Days will be held May 1-3, 7:30-3 pm.

March Associates is sending someone to address
condensation problem.

Will make 50 tons of cold patch at $51 per ton.

Made an estimate for drainage in Earl Manor, applied
for $70,000-$100,000 grant.

Superintendent Welch is getting an estimate for
sealing roads. Roads repaired last year are blowing apart in the middle and
need repair – Ford, Burkett, Lewis & Brouillette Roads.

RESOLVED that the Town Board hire THOMA Development for one
year with a $200 per month retainer for grant writing purposes.

On a motion by Councilman Schachtler, seconded by Councilman

RESOLVED that the Town Board sign the timber contract with
McDonough Lumber.
RESOLUTION # 37
On a motion by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman

RESOLVED that the Town Board accept the insurance proposal by
Gates-Cole to pay the submitted invoice and voucher for $19,857.56.
